I guess at least one or two of you are Ipod or Itouch owners.
Apart from Itunes do any of you use any other programmes to back up your players contents?

Similar to Tim. All my music is on an external hard drive. Also I do not allow iTunes to manage the files as I'm actual quite anal about keeping my tag information on my mp3's in order.
Once a month I take a backup copy of the iTunes folder and keep this on my external drive. If I swap a hard drive or as I am in the middle of doing at he moment restoring my hard drive I just install iTunes then drop the back up folder back in place and my iTunes and iPod information is all in place.

I use a great little app called 'YamiPod', it's truly 'multi platform' and is a great way of moving, copying, deleting and generally organizing all your chewns as simple as if it were an external drive.
