Would anyone feel it was appropriate to set up a thread for us all to pay our condolences to Ted?
It's being done on FB but some of us on here aren't FB members.

The memories and thoughts could then be given to Ted's family and close friends

Thanks

Irene;
I thought this topic was designed to do exactly as you have suggested and is traditional for the members of this board to respond to.

Face book is not a specialist country music thing so their method is not like ours where anyone can look at without first being a member. Nice thought though.

Please keep us up to date with any funeral arrangements that are made.

Irene, I have altered the title of this thread so it can be the condolences thread you asked for.

On Kenny Johnson's ( 35 years + now ) Sunday Show he dedicated the whle programme to Ted Grey with his own special tribute at 1hr 15 .
He said "A North East lad through and through , well loved musician and person, lovely bloke, always happy ..."
Kenny then played a song Ted wrote 'Back Into Your Heart Again'

Hi Timothy, I'm going to repost your post in a more appropriate place: the saloon. A four year old memorial thread isn't going to get you the results you want. Please use the new thread. Anyone wishing to reply to Timothy should also use it. It's titled: On behalf of Timothy Pitson. http://www.countrymusic.org.uk/community/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11589
